* Position: SEN Autism Teacher - Primary
* Location: Tower Hamlets, East London
* Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
* Salary: 38,766 - 60,092 (MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance, depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver individualised, engaging lessons for pupils with autism and complex learning needs
* Create a structured, predictable, and sensory-aware learning environment
* Use visual supports, communication aids, and differentiated resources effectively
* Implement and monitor personalised education and behaviour support plans
* Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, support staff, and families
* Track and report on pupil progress, using appropriate SEN assessment tools
* Promote emotional regulation and social development through tailored strategies
* Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community
Who We're Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with proven experience supporting children with autism in a primary or SEN setting
* Skilled in using autism-specific strategies such as PECS, TEACCH, or Makaton
* Calm, patient, and nurturing, with a strong commitment to inclusive education
* Able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
