The Role

We are seeking a committed, creative and passionate SEN Primary Teacher to join our outstanding team in September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative and supportive environment where your work will make a real impact every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to individual EHCPs and developmental needs.

  • Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists and external professionals to support pupils holistically.

  • Foster a positive, structured and safe classroom culture.

  • Use a range of assessment tools to track and celebrate pupil progress.

  • Promote communication, independence and emotional wellbeing across all activities.

  • Actively contribute to school-wide initiatives, family engagement and continuous improvement.

About You
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - Primary phase or SEN specialism preferred.

  • Experience working with children with SEND, especially ASC, MLD, SLD or SEMH.

  • Confident using alternative communication systems (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC).

  • Empathetic, flexible and committed to inclusive education.

  • Strong team player with excellent communication and reflective skills.
