SEN Primary Teacher
Hackney, North West London

We are working with a Ofsted rated "Outstanding" SEN provision in Clapton, a short walk from Clapton station who are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS3 SEN Teacher to join their team. This school specialises in supporting autistic learners and pupils with complex needs, providing a nurturing, creative, and highly supportive environment where both staff and students can thrive.

The Role

  • Full-time teaching position within a KS3 class.

  • Small class sizes with strong support from experienced teaching assistants.

  • Planning and delivering personalised, engaging lessons that focus on communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing.

  • Collaborating with a skilled multi-disciplinary team to ensure every child receives the best possible support.

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) with a genuine passion for SEN.

  • Experience in SEN, Autism or SLD in particular is desirable, but applications are also welcome from teachers with a strong mainstream background who are committed to developing their SEN practice.

  • Creativity, patience, and a positive approach to teaching and learning.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
