We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a Mainstream Primary School from September 2025. It is an exciting time to join a fantastic school which has a dedicated Resource Base for their SEN learners. You will become part of a dedicated and friendly team of SEN staff, committed to providing the very best in special education.

The Primary School supports and educates young people from Reception to Year 6 with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) where they prioritise developing strong and positive relationships with the children. The school creates personalised curriculums to meet the needs and development of each learner.

Some of the interventions used include: Lego Therapy, Attention Autism, Zones of Reflection, Sensory Play and Animal Therapy!

In this exciting role you will;

  • work part of a specialist team to lead class groups as a SEN Teacher in all aspects of the curriculum
  • prepare and deliver inspirational and creative lessons
  • deliver highly effective teaching, learning and assessment and make a broader positive contribution to school life
  • promote a love of learning and enable our pupils to make progress towards positive academic and EHCP outcomes

We'd love to hear from you if;

  • you have qualified teacher status in the UK and/ or experienced SEN Teacher from overseas
  • you are passionate about helping children and young people reach their full potential
  • you have experience working with SEN learners as a SEN Teacher
  • you have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing
  • you are able to think creatively and engage positively with learners with a broad range of complex needs
