Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies tailored to the needs of SEN students.
  • Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters learning and development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to develop and deliver individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in SEN education.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs.
  • Strong understanding of SEN best practices and legal requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
