Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of SEN (including ASD, ADHD, and communication needs)
- Work closely with the SENCO and other staff to implement and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Track pupil progress using formative and summative assessments
- Collaborate with external agencies and parents to ensure well-rounded support
- Foster a nurturing, safe classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
- Proven experience teaching children with SEN, preferably within a primary setting
- Strong understanding of inclusive practices and adaptive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- A patient, creative, and resilient approach to teaching
- Commitment to continuous professional development and best SEN practice
