What We're Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), with experience supporting learners with complex needs, MUST HAVE PMLD EXPERIENCE

  • Proven ability to lead a small classroom team, including teaching assistants

  • Confident communication and collaborative working with families, therapists and multidisciplinary teams

  • Strong planning, assessment and organisational skills

  • Creative, resilient and committed to person-centred teaching

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver meaningful, multi-sensory lessons that reflect each pupil's Personal Learning Intention Map (PLIM)

  • Lead a classroom team to ensure a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment

  • Plan and assess curriculum content using both national guidelines and specialist SEN approaches

  • Contribute to behaviour planning, enrichment, and curriculum development

  • Support school-wide initiatives including sensory integration and life skills learning
