A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Acton (Ealing) is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join their ARP (Autism Resource Provision). This small, specialist unit supports children with Autism and mild additional needs, with the majority of pupils in Key Stage 2.
About the Role:
Lead a small class within the ARP, focusing on children with Autism and associated mild needs
Deliver tailored, differentiated lessons to meet individual EHCP targets
Work closely with TAs, SEN specialists, and the mainstream team to support integration where appropriate
Create a structured, nurturing, and engaging environment to help pupils thrive academically and socially
Monitor progress, track development, and adapt teaching to support each child's needs
Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
Experience teaching children with Autism (ASC) and/or SEN
Strong knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies and behaviour management approaches
Patient, empathetic, and resilient with a proactive, positive attitude
Able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies
