SEN Teacher - Newham - Ages 11-18

Are you a passionate SEN Educator looking to make a lasting impact in the lives of young people? A fantastic opportunity has arisen in Newham for a dedicated professional to join a supportive secondary school catering to students aged 11-18 with special educational needs.

This full-time position is ideal for a qualified SEN Teacher who thrives in a dynamic and inclusive environment. You will be part of a collaborative team delivering high-quality education and training tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with a range of learning difficulties and behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons for students aged 11-18
  • Support students with EHCPs and SEN requirements
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals
  • Contribute to the school's inclusive ethos and ongoing education and training initiatives

About You:

  • Qualified SEN Teacher with QTS or equivalent
  • Experience working with students aged 11-18
  • A genuine commitment to inclusive education and training
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching to suit individual learning needs
