We are working with a lovely mainstream primary school based in Kilburn, who are looking for an experienced SEN teacher to work within theirSEN provision to start from January 2026.

Please see below the details;

  • You will be teaching a small group of KS1 children with Autism
  • Excellent transport links and car park on site
  • Ideally they are looking for a teacher with experience teaching in a primary SEN provision/ SEN school

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement differentiated lessons and activities that meet the needs of students with a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, governors, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils.
  • Plan, teach, and assess lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, ensuring that lessons are tailored to the individual needs of the students.
  • Teach a small group of students with a range of special educational needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 1 students, preferably with a focus on students with additional needs.
  • Understanding of child development and best practices in supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
