SEN Teacher - Greenwich
SEN Teacher -Salary: 35,000 - 50,000 (dependent on experience)
SEN Teacher -Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term/Perm

We are currently working with a fantastic special school in Greenwich that is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a well-established, supportive school catering for pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), and moderate to complex learning difficulties.
Class sizes are small (typically 6-8 pupils) with additional support from skilled Teaching Assistants, allowing for a more personalised and therapeutic approach to learning.







The Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of your students. You will be expected to create a nurturing, structured learning environment that promotes both academic and personal development. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team and parents/carers to support each student's EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) outcomes.







The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Have experience ina SEN setting.
  • Have a strong understanding of Autism and a range of learning needs
  • Be confident in behaviour management and personalised teaching approaches
  • Be enthusiastic, empathetic, and resilient
  • Be available to start immediately after Easter
  • Hold a valid DBS certificate (preferably registered on the Update Service)
