Academics are currently working with this large success full Primary school in Westminster who have now received extra funding to support their SEN students with a full time SEN Teacher. This new post at the school will see the successful SEN Teacher leading on intervention for groups of children across the school with ASD. The school has a high percentage of children with additional needs and this new role will support children, teachers and the children's parents and carers to ensure children with additional needs get a more tailored and enriched curriculum that meets their needs.

The successful SEN Teacher will have an excellent working knowledge of Primary curriculum and hands on relevant working with children with ASD. A SEN specialism or additional training in this area would be advantageous but not essential. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to be able to work effectively with teachers across the school and the children's parent and carers.


Inside the school you will find a well-resourced classroom and a friendly hardworking team that pull together to make sure their children get the best Primary school experience. You will be mentored but a very experienced SENCO and supported by visiting therapists.
