Senior Accountant Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Year-end accounts preparation (sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies)
- VAT returns and bookkeeping review
- Payroll processing and checks
- Personal tax compliance (Self Assessment)
- Direct client communication: meetings, queries, and advice
Senior Accountant Job Requirements
- 10 years accountancy practice is preferable,
- AAT qualification at a minimum, but the most important thing is experience
- Confident and competent in Accounts production, VAT, tax computations, and client management
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to hit the ground running
Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits
- 40,000 - 50,000 full time equivalent (negotiable)
