Showroom Assistant £26,000 -£28,000

Location: Farringdon

Office Based

A highly established Global Manufacturer is looking to recruit a Showroom Assistant to work in their impressive new showroom in Farringdon. This is a great opportunity for a well presented and articulate Front of House / Customer focused specialist who has a genuine interest in state of art office furniture / interior design.

The Showroom Assistant will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing reception duties and a smooth-running office and showroom.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring a 1st class customer experience for all visitors to the showroom.
  • Meeting and welcoming guests into the showroom.
  • Answering the switchboard; assisting with general enquiries, message taking, directing calls.
  • Assist with the day-to-day running of the showroom.
  • Continued inspection of the showroom, reception area, kitchen and working environment to ensure an immaculate space.
  • Booking meeting rooms and showroom visits.
  • Preparation of refreshments and catering for visitors and meetings.
  • Booking couriers and arranging post.
  • Organising and ordering office supplies.
  • Organise samples and product literature for use.
  • Organising company travel arrangements.
  • Producing the weekly report.

Experience required:

  • Professional approach to customer service.
  • Organised and proactive.
  • Well presented.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • 2+ years in a similar customer facing role.
  • PC literate
  • Experience of working within the furniture industry highly advantageous
  • An interest in Furniture/ Interior Design
  • Front of House or customer service experience in luxury environments
