Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Paediatric Palliative Care Nurse (Band 6) to join their Care Team at a serene woodland hospice. Our client is a charity based in East London, dedicated to supporting children and families facing life-limiting health conditions. They offer a variety of services, including clinical care, short breaks, and bereavement support, all aimed at helping families lead as fulfilling a life as possible.

The Senior Paediatric Palliative Care Nurse will:
  • Lead a small team of nurses and HCAs, managing shifts and providing leadership.
  • Deliver one-to-one care and develop play and recreational activities for children.
  • Act as a key worker for a small caseload of service users.
  • Serve as a link role for areas such as Infection Control or Clinical Audits.
  • Work rotational shifts, including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and bank holidays.

Package and Benefits:
The Senior Paediatric Palliative Care Nurse will receive:
  • Annual salary of 41,000 - 46,000.
  • 27 days of holiday, increasing to 29 days after five years.
