Academics are currently looking for a Speech and Language therapist for an excellent opportunity we have available for an immediate start. Academics are currently working with a vibrant and nurturing Special Needs School in Hillingdon, dedicated to supporting pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties, including autism, speech and language disorders, and complex communication needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, and deliver therapy interventions for pupils aged 4-19 with a range of communication needs

  • Work closely with teaching staff, occupational therapists, and parents to integrate communication strategies into daily school life

  • Write and maintain therapy plans, reports, and contribute to EHCPs

Requirements:
  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with autism and/or complex communication needs

  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • A proactive, compassionate, and flexible approach to your work
