Speech and Language Therapist

Are you a Speech and Language Therapist seeking part time, term time only work?

We have exciting opportunities for Speech and Language Therapists to join our team and make a positive impact on our learners’ lives.  We are seeking individuals who would like to work a part time basis, on an hourly or day rate, for 1 or 2 days per week, term time only. 

Please note, we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Key Responsibilities: 

Conduct comprehensive assessments of learners’ speech, language, and communication needs.  Develop and implement individualised therapy plans for learners.  Provide one-to – one and small group therapy sessions  Provide support, guidance and training to Support Staff in relation to the implementation of therapy plans.   Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other professionals to achieve therapy goals.  Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff to ensure that Speech and Language therapies are fully embedded into curriculum delivery.   Monitor and track client progress, adjusting therapy plans as necessary, providing therapy reports to feed into the Annual Review process.  Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and session outcomes. 

You will need to possess: 

A recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy.  HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) registration is essential.  Experience in working with [specific client groups, e.g., children, adults with speech disorders, neurological conditions, etc.] is desirable.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others.  Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
