Responsibilities
- Assemble and install structural steel components in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete steel erection tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools, equipment, and materials to maintain safety and functionality.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to address challenges and ensure smooth workflow.
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification is mandatory.
- Proven experience in steel erection or a related field.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in construction environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment relevant to steel erection.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
- Flexibility to work night or day shifts as required.
