The Demand Planning Manager will take a leading role in optimising forecasting and demand planning within the FMCG industry. This position requires a detail-oriented professional to ensure efficient supply chain operations in Central London.

Description

  • Develop and manage demand forecasts to support supply chain operations.
  • Lead the S&OP cycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory strategies with business objectives.
  • Analyse historical sales data and market trends to improve demand planning accuracy.
  • Customer Collaboration and manage relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Monitor stock levels and recommend adjustments to minimise overstock or stockout situations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on demand planning performance and KPIs.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the demand planning function.
  • Support the implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance forecasting capabilities.

Profile

A successful Demand Planning Manager should have:

  • Proven experience in demand planning and S&OP in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
  • Proficiency in demand forecasting software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams.
  • A background in procurement or supply chain management education or equivalent qualifications.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
