Cedar are supporting a Not-for-Profit organisation, based in London, who are looking to hire a Head of Procurement. This is a permanent job opportunity offering a salary up to £85,000 plus a range of great perks. This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectation to be on-site c2-3 days per week.

Reporting into the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of c10 procurement professionals and will be required to lead the procurement service within the organisation with the aim to incorporate strategic category management, sustainable procurement, and operational procurement support that delivers best in class service and achieves value for money. The role will require you to develop and implement procurement policies and systems, with a focus on embedding category management, and ensuring alignment with sustainability strategies across the business.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • ideally hold MCIPS qualification
  • strong background working within category management within a complex organisation in either the Private and/or Public Sector is required
  • strong team management and stakeholder management skills is required
  • experience using Source-to-Pay Systems within an ERP environment is required
  • understanding of NEC and JCT forms of contracting would be advantageous also
