Job Title: Commissioning Manager
Location: Westminster, London
Salary: Up to 90,000 + Benefits
We are assisting our client who are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a high-profile project for the Department of Education, delivering a Grade 2 listed sanctuary building. This CAT B fit-out covers 12,850m over 8 floors and offers a unique opportunity to work on a landmark refurbishment in Westminster.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the commissioning process across the project, ensuring all building systems are fully tested and operational.
- Coordinate with design, construction, and operational teams to ensure smooth handover.
- Oversee electrical systems commissioning, with a solid understanding of mechanical systems.
- Prepare and submit reports to the Project Director and stakeholders.
- Maintain high standards under pressure while meeting deadlines and project milestones.
Essential Experience & Skills:
- Proven fit-out project experience, preferably CAT B.
- Strong background in electrical systems commissioning; mechanical knowledge is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills; able to handle pressure.
- Experience working on listed or sensitive buildings is advantageous.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders.
Reporting Line:
This role reports directly to the Project Director.
