Test Automation Engineer - UiPath - Leading Investment Bank - London
My client, a leading investment bank, is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join their team and lead a Proof of Concept (POC) initiative focused on evaluating UiPath's Test Suite for automating testing across banking applications.
This is a hands-on role involving rapid prototyping, tool evaluation, and the delivery of automated test scenarios aimed at enhancing software quality and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Technical
- Design and implement a test automation framework using UiPath
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for financial applications
- Validate software functionality, performance, and security
- Review requirements and design documents for testability
- Assess UiPath's integration capabilities with CI/CD tools
Skills & Experience
Required
- Proven experience in IT automation projects
- Proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and Test Suite
- Strong programming skills in Java, VB.NET, or C#
- Familiarity with Git, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred
- UiPath certifications (e.g., Advanced RPA Developer or Testing Engineer)
- Experience testing financial applications (Front, Middle, Back Office)
- Background in capital markets or investment banking
- Exposure to other automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, Postman)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
