My client is a fast growing independent business, crafting high end interior fit out products and managing the installation.

As the business grows they are looking for Production Manager to manage all areas of their factory operations. You will be responsible for ensuring there are efficient and accurate processes in place, teams are staffed adequately and that health and safety is paramount.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Prepare the factory schedule and distribute work accordingly.
  • Monitor work processes and flow to ensure efficiency.
  • Ensure factory procedures are consistently followed.
  • Measure factory staff capabilities and ensure quality standards are met.
  • Understand machine processes and oversee machine maintenance logs.
  • Inspect materials upon arrival to ensure quality.
  • Maintain forklift truck maintenance logs and ensure only authorized license holders operate them.
  • Manage overall Health & Safety protocols.
  • Ensure staff are aware of risk assessments.
  • Train staff accordingly on health and safety practices.
  • Carry out Health & Safety inductions for new hires.

This is a broad role that would suit someone who has production manager experience in a busy environment. The business is small but fast growing, the right person will have a can-do attitude and the ability to manage their workload.
