This role is vital to maintaining high standards for visitors during the busy summer season.Key Responsibilities:Primary Duty: Ensure toilets are spotless, tidy, and in pristine condition at all times (opening, closing, and throughout the day).Maintain cleanliness of the paddling pool area and surrounding hard surfaces (sweeping, litter-picking, etc.).Empty bins regularly, replace liners, and conduct 30-minute checks of facilities and grounds.Assist sports officers and security staff with:Pool opening/closing procedures (gates, queues, exits).Timed public entrance slots (10:00 AM, 11:45 AM, 1:30 PM, 3:15 PM).Engage politely with visitors, answer questions, and resolve minor issues calmly.Report incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs promptly to supervisors.Support ad hoc tasks as directed by on-duty staff.About You:Reliable, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards.Physically fit (standing, bending, and lifting bins required).Friendly, approachable, and able to interact positively with the public.Team player who follows instructions from supervisors (sports officers, security, line managers).Available for the full season (23rd May – 31st August) on a Thursday–Monday schedule.Why Apply?Play a key role in enhancing community well-being.Gain experience in public facility management.Work in a vibrant outdoor setting.How to Apply:Submit your CV. Please reference “Ravenscourt Pool Attendant Application” in your subject line.Application Deadline: 14/5/2025Hammersmith & Fulham Council is an equal opportunity employer.
