SEN Support Assistant - Secondary SEN School in Greenwich

Job Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary SEN school in Greenwich for experienced and compassionate SEN Support Assistants to start in September. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stability and the chance to make a lasting impact in a highly supportive educational setting.



The Role:

  • Support students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism and PMLD

  • Work closely with class teachers to create a safe and engaging learning environment

  • Deliver personalised learning activities and assist with care plans

  • Encourage development of independence, social interaction, and life skills

  • Provide support with personal care as required



Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an SEN or specialist education setting is essential

  • Comfortable with personal care and supporting students with high levels of need

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Calm, flexible, and proactive approach

  • Educated to at least Level 1 in English and Maths

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one

  • Contract Type: Temp to Perm

  • Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (term time only)

  • Pay: 100 - 120 per day
