Regional Treasurer EMEA - Mayfair, City of Westminster

Job Title: Regional Treasurer EMEA

Location: Mayfair, City of Westminster (5 minutes walk from Piccadilly Circus train station)

Remuneration: 500 per day

Contract Details: Temporary, from July 20, 2025, to January 1, 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the EMEA Treasury team across the U.K. and Poland, ensuring all day-to-day tasks are executed efficiently while fostering team growth through training and development.
  • Mentor and support group and country-level treasury teams, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing within the organisation.
  • Act as a strategic business partner, providing insights to regional leaders for fiscally responsible decision-making focusing on Treasury risks including liquidity, foreign exchange, and operational challenges.
  • Drive improvements in working capital management, identifying opportunities for enhanced cash efficiency, and rolling out netting tools.
  • Recommend and oversee investment strategies for surplus funds, ensuring optimal use of excess liquidity while considering funding needs and net interest expenses.
  • Manage regional risks related to foreign currency, interest rates, and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee regional trade finance activities, focusing on bank guarantees and other opportunities that enhance working capital.
  • Collaborate with other regional treasurers to standardise KPIs across the business and ensure a consistent reporting cadence.
  • Develop the EMEA annual Treasury budget aligned with regional goals and priorities.
  • Evolve treasury policies and procedures to minimise operational risk and uphold best-in-class governance of treasury activities.
  • Advise on treasury integration and risk management strategies in relation to mergers and acquisitions and other capital allocation decisions.
  • Provide thought leadership in collaboration with the Treasury Technology team to identify automation opportunities, efficiencies, and cost-saving measures.
  • Create a strategy for innovative management of treasury operations in EMEA, focusing on project management and operational risk reduction, including clear delegation within the operations team.
  • Partner with the PAM and Work Dynamics finance team to support new business initiatives and manage internal stakeholder relationships, including the JBS Treasury Operations Department.
  • Support the preparation of Treasury cash flow reporting and forecasting, emphasising liquidity and working capital management across the region.
  • Strategically evaluate banking strategies with regional treasury leads to maximise efficiency and minimise costs, leveraging global B2B relationships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key banks across EMEA, ensuring the organisation remains at the forefront of innovation in treasury operations and cash management.
