The Post: 

We are looking to recruit an English Leader for 1st September 2025. 

The Staff, Parents and Children at Roe Green Juniors are welcoming to all newcomers and we celebrate our diverse community. The English Leader would need to have a deep understanding of the needs of children new to English. She or he should also understand the requirements of KS2 assessments. 

The Person: 

  • He or she should be an excellent practitioner
  • Appreciation of the school’s cultural and linguistic diversity and the richness that these attributes bring to the pupils’ learning
  • The candidate should have secure knowledge of the English Curriculum
  • An ability to lead and motivate others
  • Have been responsible for leading a curriculum area and delivering training
