About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Senior Automotive Paint Sprayer to join our client's dynamic team. In this key role, you will be the expert responsible for the final, high-quality finish, with the support of two Bodyshop Preppers who will handle the initial stages. You will bring your expertise and your own tools to the critical phases of painting and inspection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the final stages of vehicle preparation, working closely with and providing guidance to two dedicated Bodyshop Preppers.

  • Expertly mix and match paints to achieve perfect colour matches.

  • Apply paint using spray guns to ensure a flawless, even finish free from imperfections.

  • Conduct detailed touch-ups and final finishing work.

  • Perform quality inspections on completed work to ensure it meets the highest industry standards.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.

  • Ensure all painting equipment is properly maintained and stored.

  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.

    Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer within an automotive environment.

  • Must possess and maintain your own comprehensive set of tools.

  • Demonstrable ability to manage the full paint process, from preparation to completion, to a high standard.

  • Specific, hands-on experience with water-based paints.

  • A relevant qualification such as City & Guilds or equivalent ATA accreditation.

  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques and standards.

  • A stable and consistent work history.

  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
