Assistant Transport Planner / Transport Planner (Graduate +2)
Location: Bristol or London


We are currently seeking a motivated Assistant Transport Planner or Transport Planner (Graduate +2 years' experience) to join our growing team in either our Bristol or London office.

About the Role:
You will play a key role in delivering transport planning projects, providing support on a range of development planning work including Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and dynamic consultancy environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans for a wide range of projects.
  • Assist with transport modelling and junction analysis using tools such as Junctions 10.
  • Prepare design drawings and conduct swept path analysis using AutoCAD and AutoTrack.
  • Undertake data analysis and contribute to spatial assessments using ArcGIS.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders as part of project delivery.


About You:

  • Degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related field.
  • Around 2 years' experience in a transport planning or development planning role.
  • Good awareness of the role and context of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans.
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD / AutoTrack.
  • Familiarity with junction modelling software (Junctions 10) and GIS tools (ArcGIS) is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop your skills and career.
