Are you a Transport Planner with experience in development planning looking to advance your career with a respected, independent consultancy? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing transport planning consultancy with offices across the UK.

You'll work on a diverse range of projects - from residential and mixed-use developments to commercial and education schemes - delivering innovative and sustainable transport solutions.

As a Transport Planner, you will:

  • Prepare Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, and Travel Plans
  • Undertake junction modelling and traffic analysis using tools such as Junctions 10, LinSig, and TRICS
  • Analyse transport data and contribute to strategic transport studies
  • Prepare high-quality written reports and presentations
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and project teams
  • Support project delivery and assist senior colleagues across multiple schemes

About You
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related subject
  • Around 1-3 years' experience in a transport planning or development planning environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good knowledge of UK planning and transport policy
  • Experience using relevant software (e.g. Junctions 10, LinSig, TRICS, TEMPro)
  • A proactive approach and ability to work well in a team
