UI Engineer - React, HTML, JavaScript
Up to £525 per day (Outside IR35)

A great contract opportunity has become available with a major client who is now seeking for a UI Engineer to join and help them on a business-critical programme.
- Proven expertise in a front-end or UI engineering role in a cloud or hybrid environment.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience in at least one modern front-end framework (React preferred)
- Expertise in building and maintaining responsive and accessible interfaces at scale.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand)
- Experience working with design systems and tools such as Figma or Storybook
- Solid understanding of web performance optimization, testing and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with front-end tooling and bundlers such as Webpack, Vite (or similar)
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of REST APIs and integration with back-end services
- Awareness of secure coding practices and data privacy considerations in UI development
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Experience working within Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban frameworks
- Experience with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1), and a passion for inclusive design
