Maintenance Supervisor / Site Manager - Landmark Building - London (City) - Up to 60,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM company situated in London. CBW is currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor / Site Manager to be based in a landmark commercial building located close to Liverpool Street station. Reporting to the Account Manager, the candidate will be responsible for delivery of all aspects of PPM and reactive maintenance on site, manage a small team of engineers, as well as overseeing specialist contractors. This role is extremely varied and will cover everything from completing ppm and reactive tasks to attending client meetings, overseeing audits with no M&E hands on responsibilities.

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Key duties & responsibilities
  • Reporting to the Account Manager
  • Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
  • Update customers CAFM system in real time with start/wait/stop completion times and provide full description of works undertaken, advising of any follow-on works required.
  • Ensure reactive tasks throughout the sites are completed and be proactive in highlighting areas where improvements can be made.
  • Identify and record all plant failures using quotation forms and issue to line manager.
  • Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order.
  • To attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs).
  • Maintaining statutory compliance is paramount and therefore excellent document control and upkeep of site files is of utmost importance.
  • Carryout regular site audits
  • Production of Quotations
  • Production and collation of Condition / Dilapidation Reports
  • Ensure all contracts under designated control are statutory compliant
  • Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practices.
  • Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance
Requirements

  • Completion of a recognised Electrical industry qualification preferably an apprenticeship.
  • City & Guilds level 2 & 3.
  • C&G 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
  • Previous experience working in a similar working environment or Facilities Management role is essential.
  • Must have good customer facing skills to include an understanding of customer related issues.
  • Have an understanding of HVAC workloads and issues.
  • Good and broad knowledge of health and safety.
  • Ideally Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS office system/BMS.
