We need a Hire Desk Controller to join our team and be responsible for assisting customers with their requirements for hire equipment.
Here are some of the things you can expect to do:
- Handling customer enquiries for Powered Access, Forklifts, Telehandlers & Plant.
- Liaison with customers regarding all hire, sales and service enquiries.
- Proactively promoting the company and its products / services at all times.
- Negotiating hire rates and preparing quotations with associated spec sheet data.
- General administrative duties including resolution of queries.
- This list isn't exhaustive, and you may be called upon for additional duties as needed.

You have excellent customer service skills and experience working within a high-volume hire desk role.
Along with the ability to work under your own initiative you will have strong organisational skills.
Demonstrable knowledge of types of plant , machinery, small tools, lifting and safety equipment that would be great too, but dont worry if you havent as we can build this knowledge once you are onboard.
