VEHICLE TECHNICIAN - INDEPENDENT SPECIALIST GARAGE

Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician:
·Carry out a range of service, diagnostic and repair operations across a variety of vehicles, including specialist/brand-specific work
·Use strong technical and diagnostic skills to identify faults efficiently
·Complete repairs, maintenance and assembly tasks to a high standard in a busy independent workshop
·Work to industry, safety and manufacturer specifications
·Accurately record all work carried out on job cards
·Communicate clearly with the service team and provide honest, knowledgeable advice to customers
·Take pride in maintaining a clean, organised work area and supporting workshop efficiency

Skills and Qualifications:
·MUST HOLD an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
·Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive sector (independent garage experience desirable)
·Valid MOT Testing Licence is advantageous but not essential
·Must have own tools and toolbox
·Full Manual UK Driving Licence (licence checks will be carried out)
·Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
