We are looking for a proactive, organised and detail-orientedVending Supervisorto oversee vending operations within a busyB&I contract cateringenvironment. This hands-on role covers all aspects of vending, from restocking and machine maintenance to labelling fresh produce, managing supplier communication, and ensuring high presentation standards.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the service, working closely with the kitchen, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure that vending runs smoothly, efficiently, and on time with a strong emphasis onattention to detail, food safety, and time management.

Employment Type:Full-Time /40 hours per week/ 6:30am-3pm with flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

Vending Operations & Product Management:

  • Restock vending machines with drinks, snacks, andfresh fruit, ensuring consistent product availability and variety.
  • Ensure allfresh products are correctly labelled and datedin line with food safety standards.
  • Maintain high standards ofcleanliness, hygiene and presentationacross all vending equipment.
  • Rotate stockto ensure freshness and reduce waste.
  • Monitor and report any faults or issues with machines, carrying out basic maintenance where necessary.
  • Create engaging andguest-focused vending displays, tailored to site preferences and seasonality.

Stock Control & Supplier Liaison:

  • Forecast product needs based on usage trends and place orders accordingly.
  • Prepare and manageweekly order forms and labels, communicating requirements clearly to the kitchen team.
  • Liaise directly with suppliers to place and track orders, resolve issues, and maintain good working relationships.
  • Manage stock across multiple sites/storage points, keeping detailed records and managingwastage efficiently.

Service Delivery & Time Management:

  • Work tostrict service timeframes, ensuring all machines are stocked and presentable ahead of service times.
  • Deliver vending and fresh producewithin agreed service windows, coordinating effectively with both kitchen and client schedules.
  • Ensure consistent delivery standards, even during busy periods or when managing multiple sites.

Key Skills & Requirements:

  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly for labelling, dating, stock rotation, and presentation.
  • Excellenttime managementand the ability to work to strict schedules.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
  • Clear communication skills both verbal and written to liaise with suppliers, kitchen teams, and clients.
  • Confident using stock management systems and preparing product/order documentation.
  • Basic maintenance knowledge for vending machines is desirable.
  • Physically capable of lifting and transporting stock (some manual handling required)

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in vending, retail operations, or a stock-focused role within a catering or facilities management setting.
  • Experience in a contract catering or B&I foodservice environment is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with food hygiene standards, particularly labelling and allergen practices.
  • Understanding of forecasting, ordering and waste management processes.
