Director of Catering - Events Venue - £70k
I am currently recruiting for a Director of Catering within a unique venue in London. If youre looking for a role within a versatile venue this is the role for you. They host everything from a day visitor retail offering, to large banqueting functions, conferences and elaborate drinks & canape receptions, so if you want a role with variety, this is for you!!
As Director of Catering, you will lead and inspire a core team of 15 plus a large volume casual pool to deliver the very best standards. You will work closely with the sales team looking at the business strategy to drive the business forward.
The ideal Director of Catering will have the following skills/ knowledge;
Experience in both events and retail
A Hands-on approach and keen to become the face of the venue
Strong financial acumen with a keen eye on your figures both sales and costs
Commercially aware and the ability to increase sales
Financially aware and worked with a P&L in the region of £3m
Working predominantly Monday to Friday, with very occasional weekends to suit the demands of the business.
