You will be responsible for leading and managing all global shipping operations, ensuring on-time and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service.

Description

  • Oversee and manage the end-to-end shipping process (air, sea, road) for international and domestic consignments
  • Coordinate with internal departments, 3PL providers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
  • Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations)
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations (incoterms, HMRC, customs clearance)
  • Drive continuous improvement in shipping practices, identifying cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all shipping-related queries and issues
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and reports for audit and analysis

Profile

  • Proven experience in a shipping/logistics role within a manufacturing or technical products environment
  • Strong understanding of international trade compliance and customs procedures
  • Hands-on experience with global freight and logistics partners
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset
  • Experience using ERP systems and shipping platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
