Description
- Oversee and manage the end-to-end shipping process (air, sea, road) for international and domestic consignments
- Coordinate with internal departments, 3PL providers, and freight forwarders to ensure timely dispatch and delivery
- Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations)
- Ensure compliance with all relevant import/export regulations (incoterms, HMRC, customs clearance)
- Drive continuous improvement in shipping practices, identifying cost-saving opportunities and process efficiencies
- Act as the primary point of contact for all shipping-related queries and issues
- Maintain accurate shipping records and reports for audit and analysis
Profile
- Proven experience in a shipping/logistics role within a manufacturing or technical products environment
- Strong understanding of international trade compliance and customs procedures
- Hands-on experience with global freight and logistics partners
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented mindset
- Experience using ERP systems and shipping platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
