About the Agency
You'll be joining a fully integrated agency with in-house specialists across paid media, SEO, social media, and account management. The production team sits at the heart of the agency, shaping visually engaging content that drives performance across multiple channels.
Role Overview
As a Social Video Editor, you will play a key role in the agency's in-house production & content team, editing short-form video for social platforms and bringing raw footage to life. You'll work closely with the videographer, social team, and wider creative to craft compelling content for TikTok, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging, high-quality short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and LinkedIn.
- Work with raw footage supplied by clients, third-party sources, or filmed by the in-house videographer.
- Adapt and repurpose content for different social channels while maintaining platform best practices.
- Collaborate with the social and creative teams to ensure visuals align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
- Stay up to date with social video trends, editing styles, and emerging formats.
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
Requirements
- Previous commercial experience in video editing, ideally within an agency or content-driven environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating short-form social edits (TikTok, Reels, LinkedIn).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects a bonus).
- Understanding of social-first storytelling, pacing, hooks, and trends.
- Ability to edit quickly and efficiently without compromising quality.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience in content for the construction and property sectors is beneficial but not essential.
