We are seeking an Electrical Installation Lecturer to join our educational team in Wandsworth. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher with a passion for electrical installation and a commitment to student success.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative lessons on electrical installation to students.
- Utilise a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure comprehensive understanding.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress through both practical and theoretical methods.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical installation practices, standards, and regulations to ensure relevant teaching content.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance curriculum and learning experiences for students.
- Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Relevant industry qualifications and/or substantial experience in Electrical Installation.
- Must possess a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd).
- Strong knowledge of current electrical installation practices, standards, and regulations.
- Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate and inspire students.
- Intermediate-level IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Registration with the JIB as ‘Approved Electrician’ status or Eng-Tech status via the IET is highly desirable.
- A recognised Level 3 assessor qualification, e.g., TAQA, is advantageous.
