We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installations Lecturer to join our dynamic team in South East London. This role involves assisting with the planning and organisation of the Electrical curriculum and teaching a range of courses across different levels and awarding bodies, including City & Guilds. The successful candidate will also contribute to the curriculum development and help promote the department through various marketing events.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Teach electrical installation courses to students across Level 1, 2, and 3, as well as courses associated with City & Guilds.
  • Assist the Curriculum Manager in the development and expansion of the Electrical department.
  • Engage in curriculum planning and organisation to ensure the courses meet educational standards and industry needs.
  • Participate in marketing and promotional events to enhance the visibility and attractiveness of the Electrical curriculum.
  • Utilise strong communication skills to clearly articulate course material and presentations to class groups.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven teaching experience and/or relevant industry experience in electrical installations.
  • Minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent).
  • Qualified FE teacher or willingness to work towards this qualification.
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in both teaching environments and presentations.
  • Efficient administration skills for maintaining accurate student records.
