Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challengingFood Technologylessons across Key Stages 3-4, emphasizingpracticalapplication.
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of nutrition, food science, andpracticalcookery skills withinFood Technology.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance theFood Technologycurriculum, focusing onpracticaloutcomes.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress inFood Technology, evaluatingpracticalskills.
• Potentially contribute to extracurricular cooking clubs or healthy eating initiatives, promotingpracticalfood skills.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism inFood Technology.
• Degree inFood Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Proven experience teachingFood Technologyat secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply), with a focus onpracticalcookery.
• Strong knowledge of nutrition, food science, food safety, andpracticalcookery techniques relevant toFood Technology.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on safety in theFood Technologykitchen and the delivery ofpracticallessons.
