About the Role
- Teach Food Technology across KS3, KS4 & KS5.
- Class sizes are small (5-8 students) to ensure personalized learning.
- Deliver engaging, practical lessons that develop cooking and catering skills.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Strategies and maintain a calm, supportive classroom environment.
What We're Looking For
- Experience teaching or working with students with special educational needs, particularly Autism.
- Strong practical background in food preparation, catering, or related fields.
- Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and students.
- Resilience, patience, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Requirements
- Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce DBS Certificate registered on the update service.
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and innovative teaching techniques.
