Remedy Education is actively seeking a dynamic and dedicated Media and Film Studies Tutor to join a SEMH Performing Arts College based in the London Borough of Islington. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to a vibrant educational community that values innovation and academic achievement.

As a Media and Film Studies Tutor, you will have the responsibility of fostering a deep appreciation for media arts and cinematic storytelling. Through dynamic and thought-provoking lessons, you will empower students to analyse media texts critically, explore the impact of media on society, and develop practical skills in film production.

The ideal candidate for the Media and Film Studies Tutor role will:

  • Have previous experience teaching media studies and/or film studies in a school setting.
  • Have Previous Experience working with students with Challenging Behaviour.
  • Demonstrate innovative teaching methods and a commitment to student-centred learning.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
