We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Motor Vehicle Lecturer to join our experienced and supportive team at our West London Campus. Our Motor Vehicle Section boasts fully fitted, recently refurbished workshops equipped with the latest technology, including investments in hybrid/electric vehicle technology. This role is ideal for someone passionate about the Motor Vehicle industry and education, looking to shape the future of young learners aged 16-19.
Day-to-day of the role:- Deliver educational programs to students in Motor Vehicle/Automotive technology, focusing on both theoretical and practical aspects.
- Engage and motivate students aged 16-19, ensuring high levels of participation and progress.
- Utilize up-to-date equipment and resources to provide high-quality training in both traditional and emerging technologies in the automotive field.
- Participate in the development and introduction of new courses, such as IMI qualifications, to enhance the curriculum.
- Maintain a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic and professional growth of students.
- Qualified to a minimum of Level 3 in Motor Vehicle/Automotive.
- Experience gained within the Motor Vehicle industry.
- Some experience in teaching, training, or assessing, with a willingness to engage and inspire young learners.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for the Motor Vehicle sector.
- If not already qualified as a teacher, you must be willing to achieve a teaching qualification, supported by the College.
