Restaurant Head Waiter/waitress full time

We are looking to recruit for a full time position for Head Waiter/Waitress, the candidate must be a responsible, reliable, collaborative and team player individual who will join our small front of house team. French wine, food and bar knowledge beneficial. Familiar with opentable.

At least two year previous experience in a fine dining restaurant is essential.

Our independent, family run restaurant was established in 1986 and has been a popular city dining establishment ever since, located in central London, just off the beaten track in Smithfield. Our menu changes regularly and we have live piano jazz every evening.

We are open Tuesdays to Saturdays.

Our full time position is typically based on a 42/48 hour week or 7-8 shifts, approximately 6 hours long.

The Head waiter/waitress will be in charge of a section looking after our guests throughout their meal. Our service is very much customer focused and interactive and so we are looking for someone with initiative and hands on. 

We offer a flexible, friendly working environment with staff meals when on duty.

We are closed on Sundays, Mondays, Bank holidays and the Christmas period.

The Head waiter/waitress will have a competitive salary dependent on experience and discussed at the interview
