Job Description:

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Night Warehouse Operatives for a parcel company. As a vital part of our operations, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of parcels during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Parcel Sorting: Sorting and organizing parcels based on delivery routes and destinations to ensure timely dispatch.

2. Loading and Unloading: Safely loading and unloading parcels from delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques.

3. Scanning and Labeling: Accurately scanning and labeling parcels to ensure proper tracking and delivery.

4. Quality Control: Conducting quality checks on parcels to identify and report any damages or discrepancies.

5. Stock Management: Assisting in the management of warehouse inventory by keeping track of stock levels and replenishing supplies as needed.

6. Safety Compliance: Adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

7. Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet operational targets and deadlines.

8. Cleaning and Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse area clean and organized, including maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance issues.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential.
2. Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
3. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
4. Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy parcels.
5. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
6. Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as required.
