About the Role:

Our client is currently looking for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join their hardworking team based in Beckton, East London. This is a full-time, hands-on role with a key responsibility for supporting daily warehouse operations - and occasionally stepping in to cover driving duties during staff absences (annual leave or sickness).

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Duties (Primary Role):

Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders
Unloading and loading deliveries safely
Carrying out inventory checks and maintaining accurate stock records
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe
Operating equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)

Driving Duties (Cover Only):

Covering delivery routes during driver absence
Ensuring timely and professional customer deliveries
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues

What We're Looking For:

Prior warehouse experience preferred (but not essential)
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Reliable and flexible with working hours
Good communication skills and a strong team player
Forklift license (advantageous but not essential - training available)
Full UK driving licence (required for driving cover)
