Rate: £450–£525/day Inside IR35

Locations: Base locations across the UK including London, Bristol, and Manchester

On-site Requirement: 1 day per week

We’re looking for experienced Content Designers to join high-profile Central Government digital service teams. You’ll create and improve user-centred content that meets service standards and makes a real impact on millions of users.

What You’ll Do

Design, improve, and manage content using analytics, user feedback, and research

Apply and contribute to content principles and strategiesIdentify user needs and write clear, actionable user storiesCollaborate effectively with stakeholders across government and industry

Take a strategic approach to content design, ensuring compliance with service standards

Essential Skills Experience

Government experience is critical – strong understanding of GOV .UK content standards and service design principlesHands-on experience with GOV .UK publishing systems

Expertise in content design, using insights and analytics to inform decisions

Excellent stakeholder management and prioritisation skills

Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
