We are currently looking for a creative and driven Freelance Producer to join the Digital Video team at a major global news provider.

Previous experience of working on news content will be essential for this role so candidates must have a background in journalism and news / current affairs

You'll pitch, write, produce, and edit engaging video content for digital platforms, covering everything from breaking news to global issues like climate, health, and politics.

What You'll Do:

  • Pitch and produce original video stories
  • Write scripts, conduct interviews, and edit video
  • Track breaking news and social trends
  • Collaborate across global teams
  • Occasionally lead daily video coverage as assignment editor

What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years in digital video journalism
  • Strong news judgement and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and social-first formats
  • Excellent writing and communication
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts
  • Foreign language skills a plus
