Our client is seeking a Technical Author to take the lead on developing clear,

customer-focused content directly from engineering data in formats like HTML, iOS,

and PDF.

Key Responsibilities

•Create technical documentation for new products and internal procedures.

•Develop machine manuals, technical bulletins, and training materials.

Highly Desirable

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards.

• Maintain up-to-date publications and support the Change Control process.

• Knowledge of networking technology.

• Ability to work well with technical subject matter experts.

• Stakeholder management.

• Document management and control.

• Great communication skills

• Creating clear and concise material, taking care of editing and proofreading tasks

• Updating and maintaining a library of technical terminology and documentation

• Revising or rewriting existing technical literature

• Researching and gathering technical information and studying target audiences

• Testing whether users understand newly developed material

• Collaborating with engineers, developers and other technical specialists to ensure that they understand the subject

• Staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in the industry

Skills & Experience

•5-10+ years’ experience in a Technical Author role.

•Strong writing skills.

•Knowledge of M365 suite and related products.

•Degree in Engineering / IT related field or English.

•Detail-oriented, organised, and able to meet deadlines.
